Steer your sun lounger towards Gelendzhik, baby! According to the Krasnodar Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, the sea's warmest off here, hitting a balmy +21 degrees. Now, when it comes to the Azov Sea, you'll find your swim just right in Yeisk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk at a scorching +22 degrees, and in Temryuk at +21.

Looking to dive in as early as possible? Not so fast, buddy! Roman Vilfand, the big cheese at Russia's Hydrometcenter, reports that the southern resorts of European Russia won't be kissing +22 degrees until mid-June, so might wanna hold off on that bikini tan until then.

Now, before we get into it, lemme tell ya that all 141 beaches in Anapa are currently off-limits, and it's a no-go for swimming in the sea. Sorry, self-tanners! Not to mention, nine beaches, and the territory from Veselovka village to the Crimean Bridge in the Temryuk district are also off-limits and off-limits they shall remain.

But hey, the water in Kuban ain't all gloomy! Stick close to our guide, find your perfect beach spot, and let the good times roll!
