Tiny Vinyl Introduces Compact, Collectible 4-inch Singles

In a bold move to challenge the dominance of digital music, Tiny Vinyl LLC, a new startup based in Nashville, TN, has launched a line of 4-inch vinyl singles. These compact records, measuring exactly four inches in diameter, offer a unique and collectible physical music format.

Each disc holds approximately four minutes of music per side, playing at 33 RPM on any standard manual turntable. The music duration is designed to accommodate a single song or a short EP, making them ideal for artists and collectors alike.

The packaging of these miniature vinyl records is no less impressive. They come in numbered, limited-edition versions, complete with authentic jackets and cover art. The design of the jackets and art is intended to feel authentic, similar to 12-inch vinyl, enhancing the collector's experience.

Notable early titles in the initial releases feature Black Sabbath with "Paranoid," Ghost, Chappell Roan ("Pink Pony Club"), The Rolling Stones, Frank Sinatra, Sabrina Carpenter, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Post Malone, Lainey Wilson, Kacey Musgraves, Bruno Mars, and more.

Tiny Vinyl's creators, Neil Kohler and Jesse Mann, stated that they created Tiny Vinyl to offer fans an adorable, collectable, and playable miniature vinyl record. They aim to bring a new level of excitement to the vinyl collecting community.

These tiny records are now available at Target, making them accessible to a wider audience. However, not all songs will receive the Tiny Vinyl treatment. For instance, the 1980 single Die Young, which is over four minutes long, will not be released in this format.

In the realm of vinyl, Tiny Vinyl is a fresh and innovative concept. It's a testament to the enduring appeal of physical music formats and the creativity of the music industry. Whether you're a collector, an artist, or a fan, Tiny Vinyl offers a unique and collectible addition to your music collection.
