In a press conference held at the Jharkhand BJP headquarters, Arun Singh, the national general secretary of the BJP, made a series of accusations against the ruling parties in the state.

Singh alleged that law and order have collapsed in Jharkhand, with the state witnessing an increase in Naxalism and other illegal activities. He urged the government to identify and take strict action against people conspiring against the country.

The BJP leader accused the JMM, Congress, and RJD alliance of attempting to loot the state, despite winning elections for development and better law and order. He claimed that development work in Jharkhand has allegedly come to a halt, and the government is promoting land and stone mafia, and people with links to terrorist groups.

Singh also accused Rahul Gandhi of attacking constitutional institutions and predicted that the Congress will remain "invisible across the country" for the next 25-30 years under his leadership. He further alleged that Pakistan's spy agency ISI connections are increasing in Jharkhand due to the government's appeasement politics.

The press conference came after the tragic death of social worker Surya Hansda. Hansda, a former assembly poll contestant, was arrested on August 10 in Deoghar and died in an alleged encounter with security personnel while being taken to Rahadbadia Hills to recover hidden weapons. According to Godda police, Hansda allegedly snatched an arm from police personnel and fired at them while attempting to flee. The policemen retaliated, resulting in Hansda's death.

Hansda was known for speaking against sand mafia and corruption in Jharkhand. His death has sparked outrage among the public, with many questioning the state of law and order in the region.

Meanwhile, the NDA is predicted to return to power in Bihar with a thumping majority, while the Congress-RJD alliance is expected to suffer a heavy defeat in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. The BJP will continue to raise its voice against illegal activities in Jharkhand and demand justice for Surya Hansda.
