Biysk Launches Tender to Combat Spring and Summer Flooding Risks

Biysk's city administration has launched a tender to remove meltwater and rainwater from key collection points. The project aims to prevent flooding during the spring and summer seasons. Bidding is now open, with a deadline set for March 2026. The Housing, Utilities, Landscaping, and Road Management Department is managing the contract. Interested companies have until March 31, 2026, to submit their proposals. The auction results will be published on April 2.

The initial budget for the work stands at **5.92 million rubles**. Contractors will be paid **646.67 rubles per cubic meter** of water pumped and transferred. All tasks must finish by **November 30, 2026**, as part of the city's flood prevention plan. No specific company or exact water volume has been named in the tender documents so far.

The winning contractor will handle water removal across Biysk over the next two and a half years. Payments will be based on the volume of water processed at the fixed rate. The project is designed to reduce flood risks during high-precipitation periods.
