It seemed like the Fire Wings were set to repeat their initial dominance. William Lundgren added another goal in the 25th minute, putting the Bisons up 4:2, followed by Mikko Lindbom's dream goal in the 26th minute to increase their lead to 5:2 heading into the second intermission.

The Fire Wings struggled to keep up in the third period, and Nick Alvarez stood tall in the Bisons' goal, thwarting shot after shot. Mikko Lindbom completed his hat-trick in the 51st minute and Jere Liiberg added another goal in the 55th minute. Kirill Seeberg then sealed the deal with the final goal at 8:2.
