Bingen police enforce child safety checks near primary school

Police in Bingen carried out early-morning traffic checks near Burg Klopp Primary School on Thursday, November 20. The operation aimed to improve safety for children travelling to school during the busy morning hours.

The controls ran from 7:30 to 8:00 a.m., focusing on key safety measures. Officers from the Police Inspection Bingen verified that child seats and seat belts were correctly used for young passengers.

The operation highlighted essential safety practices for school commutes. Police stressed the importance of proper child restraints, functional lighting, and winter-ready tires. These measures form part of ongoing efforts to protect pupils on their way to school.
