Say goodbye to healthcare chaos: Trump's DEI crackdowns hailed for turbulence-free medicine

EXCLUSIVE: Nonprofit patient advocacy group PatientsRightsAdvocate.org has put up a billboard in Times Square, NYC, praising President Trump for making good on a key healthcare pledge within his first 100 days in office.
Set to run from April 28 to May 4, the billboard, courtesy of PatientsRightsAdvocate.org, sports an image of Trump resembling Superman alongside the words, "President Trump delivers healthcare price transparency. First 100 Days!"
Trump's executive order signed in February sought to compel the Departments of Treasury, Labor, and Health and Human Services to publicize healthcare prices to promote competition and empower consumers.

The order targets opacity in healthcare pricing, ordering departments to ensure actual prices are disclosed online instead of estimates, and requiring comparable pricing across facilities and insurance companies.
PatientsRightsAdvocate.org highlights that over one-third of Americans have delayed or bypassed treatment due to fear of unknown costs, with 100 million Americans bearing medical debt, which constitutes the largest cause of personal bankruptcy.
"The magnitude of President Trump's delivering 'groundbreaking' price transparency in healthcare is historic," Cynthia Fisher, founder and chairman of PatientRightsAdvocate.org, stated. "Patients will soon have access to actual prices, not estimates, before they receive care. Prices engender a functioning market where the consumer profits from competition and options to reduce expenses," Fisher added.
Andrew Bremberg, former assistant to President Trump and director of the Domestic Policy Council at the first Trump administration, applauded Trump's executive order, claiming that Trump "fleshed out his first-term healthcare legacy with an even stronger price transparency executive order."
"His commitment to providing real prices, not estimates, underscores his unrelenting determination toward the American people," Bremberg emphasized. "Trump has a daring vision to revamp the American healthcare system with price transparency as the catalyst."
The executive order recognizes issues within current healthcare pricing, including disparities between prices at hospitals within the same region.
According to the statement, "One patient in Wisconsin saved $1,095 by shopping for two tests between two hospitals situated within 30 minutes of each other."

The White House claimed that one economic analysis suggested that Trump's original price transparency regulations, if fully implemented, could yield savings of $80 billion by 2025 for patients, employers, and insurers.
"The hospital demanded I pay $3,700 up front for a simple fibroid removal surgery," recounted Arizona resident Theresa Schmotzer upon the billboard's placement. "As I perceived that figure as high, I ventured to investigate what it should cost. I found the actual price online, realizing that my share was only $700, not $3,700. I benefited from access to real prices, not estimates, and saved $3,000. Trump's healthcare price transparency executive order will provide more people with access to real prices and savings."
States across the nation have pushed similar initiatives, in the form of bills, to ensure patients gain greater transparency about healthcare costs they are assuming, including Ohio, where transparency legislation was recently signed into law, requiring hospitals to post exact prices in dollars and cents for all available services.
"They'll be able to scrutinize them, contrast them, visit different locations, so they can shop for the highest-quality care at the most cost-effective price," Trump contended when he signed the executive order. "This isn't just about high-quality care. You're also considering comparisons between talents, which is essential. And then, you're also considering cost. In some cases, you can find the most skillful doctor at the lowest price. And that's a good thing."
