Bike accident on Airline in Houston: Motorist lost steering following impact with pothole, claims authorities
In a tragic incident that unfolded on Sunday night, a 24-year-old man lost his life in a collision between a dirt bike and a car on Airline Drive, near Berry Road in north Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, the crash occurred around 11 p.m. The man, who was driving the dirt bike northbound, lost control of his vehicle after hitting a pothole. As a result, he crashed into an oncoming car, leading to a collision.
Sadly, the man was ejected from the dirt bike and died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the other car was questioned by the police and subsequently released, showing no signs of intoxication.
The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Houston Police Department. As of now, the identity of the deceased man has not been released.
The crash took place in the 4800 block of Airline Drive, near Berry Road, causing a significant disruption in the area. The search results do not provide the name of the identified victim involved in the deadly crash.
