Big Brother Season 27 Sets New Viewership Records

Big Brother Season 27 has wrapped up with impressive viewership numbers, marking the series' highest audience in over three years. The finale, hosted by Julie Chen Moonves, drew in 4.3 million viewers on CBS, a significant increase from the previous season.

The reality show, produced by Fly On The Wall Entertainment in association with Banijay Americas, has seen a steady rise in viewership. In Live + Same Day data, Season 27 averaged 3.2 million viewers per episode. Post-airing, episodes were averaging 5.1 million viewers after 35 days, a 23% increase from the previous season's Live + 35 Day average.

The production company for Season 27 is Endemol Shine Germany, also responsible for 'Promi Big Brother' alongside Rainer Laux Productions. The season's success is evident in its streaming numbers, with 8.4 billion minutes streamed as of Sept. 25, a 27% increase from the previous year.

The season concluded with 25-year-old Chicago attorney Ashley Hollis being crowned the winner, taking home a $750,000 prize. The finale saw a 33% improvement compared to the Season 26 finale's viewership. Big Brother continues to captivate audiences, setting new viewership records.
