Big Boss 19 Teaser Reveals Salman Khan's Political Stance, Announces Premiere Date with the Slogan: "This Time, the Housemates' Government"
Get ready, Bigg Boss fans! The much-anticipated season 19 of the popular reality show is set to commence on August 24. A teaser for the show has already been released, hinting at a political theme for this year's edition, titled "Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar" (Household Government).
In this season, housemates will be divided into two political parties, and elections will decide the ultimate leader or Captain of the House. Each contestant will act like a minister, and the format aims to give housemates more power, with minimal interference from host Salman Khan. The concept involves democracy and political strategies within the house, marking a shift in power dynamics among contestants.
The teaser features Salman Khan in a Nehru jacket, suggesting a political setting, and he says, "Doston aur dushmanon, ho jaao taiyaar kyunki is baar gharwaalon ki sarkaar. Too much fun, hone jaane wala hai yaar (All the friends and enemies get ready because this time, it's the people who will rule. And the show will have too much fun)."
The upcoming season, which will run for five months, making it the longest in the show's history, features a diverse mix of TV stars, social media sensations, and potential international celebrity guests. A dozen new contestants will be revealed at the grand premiere, including Gaurav Khanna, Ashnoor Kaur, Awez Darbar, Nagma Mirajkar, Baseer Ali, Pranit More, Tanya Mittal, Zeishan Quadri, Abhishek Bajaj, Nehal Chudasama, Neelam Giri, and Amaal Malik.
Reports also suggest that WWE legend The Undertaker and boxing legend Mike Tyson may enter as wild card entrants during the season. Additionally, Karan Johar, Farah Khan, and Anil Kapoor are expected to host the episodes in the last two months of the season.
The episodes of Bigg Boss 19 will premiere first on JioHotstar at 9 pm, and later air on Colors TV at 10:30 pm. Despite the excitement, some celebrities like Ram Kapoor and Mallika Sherawat have already shut down rumours of their participation in the show.
