2:2 between Bielefeld and Kiel: Both runs continue - Bielefeld snatches late 2-2 draw after two-goal comeback against Kiel

Arminia Bielefeld battled back from a two-goal deficit to secure a 2-2 draw against Holstein Kiel. The result extends Bielefeld's winless streak to seven matches, while Kiel remains unbeaten in their last five games.

The match began poorly for Bielefeld when Leon Schneider scored an own goal in the 33rd minute, giving Kiel the lead. Just before half-time, Ivan Nekic doubled the advantage, putting Kiel 2-0 up at the break.

Bielefeld started their comeback in the 70th minute when Joel Grodowski converted a penalty, reducing the deficit to 2-1. With Kiel down to 10 men after Nekic's red card in the 68th minute, Bielefeld pushed for an equaliser. Their pressure paid off in the 87th minute when Noah Sarenren Bazee levelled the score at 2-2.

The draw keeps Bielefeld just above the relegation playoff spot, though they remain in danger. Meanwhile, Holstein Kiel stays firmly in mid-table, having lost none of their last five matches.
