Biden Falsely Claims Harris Had Six Months to Win 2024 Election

Biden falters when queried about Harris' schedule to secure victory, following his withdrawal from the presidential race

In a confusing statement on "The View," former President Joe Biden inaccurately stated that Vice President Kamala Harris had six full months to run for the presidency in 2024.

Contrary to Biden's claim, Harris had only three and a half to four months, from accepting the Democratic nomination in August to the general election in November.

During the interview, Biden seemed to be referring to the time remaining in his term, which ended on January 20, 2025, instead of the time Harris had to campaign for the presidential election.

Despite his inaccurate claim about the campaign timeline, Biden touted his administration's achievements, such as passing the Recovery Act and the CHIPS and Science Act, while claiming they had achieved more major legislation than any previous administration in a long time.

He also claimed that Trump's first 100 days in office were the worst any president had ever faced.

It's worth noting that the misstatement came during a conversation about criticism towards his decision to step down and endorse Harris. Biden's response, however, shifted from discussing the impact on Harris's campaign to highlighting the accomplishments of his administration.
