A 1988 Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet and a 1987 Toyota Celica ST162, both with relatively low mileage, were also popular choices, changing hands for £8775 and £4050 respectively.
In addition to these highlights, smaller but noteworthy sales included a VW Beach Buggy for £11,812, a Ford Sierra XR4i for £5,625, an imported Toyota MR2 Turbo from 1994 for £9562, and an XJ40-based Jaguar XJR TWR for £3600.
An unusual lot that garnered attention was a Yamaha R1-powered Bedford Rascal, which sold for £4725. The auction also featured a rare 1989 Suzuki Swift GTI, which found a new owner for £5625.
