Bicyclist sustains severe injuries in crash incident
In a tragic incident on the morning of August 11, 2020, a 40-year-old cyclist was involved in a collision with a car at the intersection of Diebesweg and Talleweg in Paderborn-Marienloh. The cyclist was traveling towards Schloss Neuhaus, while the Mercedes driver was coming from Talleweg.
The cyclist, who was wearing a helmet, sustained serious injuries and was immediately transported to a hospital in Paderborn via ambulance. The reason for the collision remains unknown at this time.
As a result of the accident, the Diebesweg was closed in both directions to allow for an investigation. There was also property damage reported as a result of the incident.
