On Monday, August 18, a cycling accident occurred on the Isarring cycle path in Munich, Germany. The incident took place on the Mittlerer Ring and involved a 55-year-old cyclist, a 34-year-old driver, and a 38-year-old man riding an e-bike.

According to the Munich traffic police, the cyclist was heading towards Schwabing on the Isarring cycle path when she lost control and collided with a car. The front tire of the 38-year-old's e-bike touched the rear frame of the 55-year-old's bicycle, causing her to lose control.

The cyclist was not wearing a bicycle helmet at the time of the accident and was taken to a hospital where she sustained injuries. The 34-year-old driver and the 38-year-old e-bike rider were also involved, with their vehicles sustaining damage.

The traffic police are investigating the accident and have again advised cyclists to wear helmets for safety. They are also appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information that could help with their investigation.
