Bhopal on high alert after Delhi car blast with tightened security

Bhopal, on high alert following a car blast in Delhi, has bolstered security measures. The city's police force, led by commissioner Harinarayanachari Mishra, is leaving no stone unturned to ensure safety.

Mishra has ordered a heavy checking drive across Bhopal and its outskirts. Police teams are keeping a close watch on sensitive spots and suspicious movements. They are particularly scrutinising cars without state registration numbers and questioning their owners.

Barricades have been erected at major crossings, markets, and other sensitive locations. The bomb disposal squad, dog squad, and other agencies are conducting regular check drives at important sites. Meanwhile, GRP and RPF personnel are on high alert, searching trains and railway stations to safeguard passengers.

Social media activity is being closely monitored. Authorities have warned against spreading fake news or rumours. Citizens are urged to cooperate with security measures and ensure police verification of tenants and employees, especially in private establishments and rented properties.

Despite the search for the current head of police in Bhopal yielding no results, the city's security apparatus is functioning effectively. With beefed-up security measures and vigilant personnel, Bhopal is prepared to face any potential threats.
