Bhavye Mittal Organizes NPS 2025 Final Event, Secures Winning Amount of ₹94.26 Lakh
Bhavye Mittal, a seasoned poker player, clinched the NPS #191 Main Event of the National Poker Series 2025 with a ₹10 Crore GTD, pocketing a career-best prize of ₹94.26 Lakh and an NPS gold medal[2]. The event saw 7,594 entries, with 702 survivors making it to Day 2.
Bhavye's journey to the top began through qualifier #9, which was a turbo format. A quick glance at his poker career reveals that he has been playing online since at least 2018 and has worked for platforms like Zynga Poker and 9Stacks[3]. Apart from the NPS win, Bhavye's significant cash prizes include ₹18 Lakh from Adda52's AOPS 2020 Main Event, where he finished third, and ₹8 Lakh from the Full House event in 2020.
Dhruvin Kothari, an NPS debutant, finished second with a maiden silver medal and ₹82.11 Lakh. Pratik Manjrekar, taking home ₹60.64 Lakh and a bronze medal, came in third. Notably, the top three players struck a three-way deal to conclude the NPS 2025 Main Event[4].
A notable mention is Abhishek Goindi, Baazi Team Pro, who bagged ₹5 Lakh for finishing 30th in the Main Event.
National Poker Series 2025
The 5th edition of the NPS set a record with a ₹100 Crore prize pool, attracting top professionals and rising stars[5]. The series had 6 lakh entries and doled out ₹104 Crore in winnings. Bhanu Prakash took home ₹30 Lakh for leading the NPS 2025 leaderboard.with a total of ₹4 Crore in the leaderboard. National Poker Champion 2025
The first-ever National Poker Champion India leaderboard, featuring 12 finalists representing various states, commenced in April[8].
