BFI Network@LFF 2025 Unveils Diverse Lineup of Emerging Filmmakers
The 12th BFI Network@LFF Professional Development Programme for 2025 has announced its participants. This year's programme includes an intensive masterclass, screening, and event schedule with industry professionals. It also features a growing documentary strand, supported by the BFI Doc Society Fund.
Among the 15 selected participants are Anna Snowball, known for 'Iranian Yellow Pages' and currently working on 'Inside Is Chaos', and Matty Crawford, a UK-Filipino writer-director whose short film 'Stomach Bug' was Bafta-nominated. Chloe Culpin, an associate producer of '100 Nights Of Hero' and having worked on films like 'A Hand Rises' and 'Homework', also joins the programme.
Courteney Tan, a writer-director, is developing a book adaptation and a TV show. Cheri Darbon, a producer focusing on subcultures and redefining identities, is another notable participant. The programme's alumni include successful filmmakers like Harry Lighton ('Pillion') and Akinola Davies Jr ('My Father's Shadow').
