BFI London Film Festival 2025 Unveils Star-Studded Jury Lineup
The 69th BFI London Film Festival has revealed its jury members for 2025. Elizabeth Karlsen, Kibwe Tavares, Eloïse King, and Ming-Jung Kuo will serve as jurors, each bringing unique expertise to their respective competitions.
Elizabeth Karlsen, a renowned producer with credits including The Salt Path, The Crying Game, and Carol, will preside over the Official Competition jury. She will be joined by Pulitzer Prize-winning film critic Justin Chang and director Kahlil Joseph.
Kibwe Tavares, known for his directorial work in films like Robots and Gumball 3000, will lead the First Feature Competition jury, also known as the Sutherland Award. Eloise King, a respected documentary filmmaker, will serve as president of the Documentary Competition jury, overseeing the Grierson Award. Meanwhile, programmer Ming-Jung Kuo will head the Short Film Competition jury.
The 69th BFI London Film Festival is set to take place from October 8 to 19, with these distinguished jurors playing a crucial role in recognising and rewarding exceptional cinematic talent. Their diverse backgrounds and expertise promise a fair and insightful evaluation of the films in competition.
