BFI London Film Festival 2023 Jury Presidents Announced
The 69th BFI London Film Festival is set to take place from October 8 to 19. This year's event sees a distinguished lineup of jury presidents, including acclaimed producer Elizabeth Karlsen heading the Official Competition jury.
Joining Karlsen on the Official Competition jury are Pulitzer Prize-winning film critic Justin Chang and director Kahlil Joseph. Karlsen, known for producing films like The Salt Path, expressed her excitement and privilege at heading the jury.
Programmer Ming-Jung Kuo will oversee the Short Film Competition jury, while director Kibwe Tavares will preside over the First Feature Competition (Sutherland Award) jury. Meanwhile, Eloise King, director of The Shadow Scholars, will head the Documentary Competition (Grierson Award) jury.
The BFI London Film Festival's juries are now complete, with a mix of respected industry professionals and acclaimed filmmakers set to decide the winners of this year's awards.
