The music icon, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, has made history by winning her first top TV award at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The win was for her iconic halftime show at the NFL game in Houston, titled "Beyoncé Bowl," which was broadcast on the streaming service Netflix.

The Creative Arts Emmy Awards, held on September 6 and 7, honour technical categories, often going to lesser-known names. This year, Beyoncé's win is in the category of outstanding costumes in a variety, music, or reality show.

The "Beyoncé Bowl" halftime show was a spectacle to remember. Beyoncé rode into the Texans' stadium on a white horse wearing a cowboy hat, adding an extra dash of glamour to the event.

While the "Juried Awards" were announced on Tuesday, the "Beyoncé Bowl" was not a part of these awards. However, it was among the juried award winners highlighted by the Television Academy for 2023.

Other key winners in the 2023 Juried Awards included several individuals and productions recognized for outstanding achievements in animation, motion design, production design, character animation, and emerging media programming, among others.

The Netflix series "Love, Death & Robots" won in four categories, including character design and storyboard. Notably, Daryl Graham was recognised for character animation, Robert Valley for character design, Gigi Cavenago for production design, and Edgar Martins for storyboard.

Meanwhile, "Octopus!" on Prime Video won for outstanding motion design, and "White Rabbit" on Shibuya.Film won for outstanding innovation in emerging media programming.

The main Emmy ceremony will be held on September 14, where Beyoncé's win will not be part of the main event. Instead, she will receive her award at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

Beyoncé, with her 35 music Grammy awards, is no stranger to winning accolades. However, this marks her first victory in the world of television, making it a significant milestone in her illustrious career.

The Creative Arts Emmy Awards, recognizing a diverse range of categories, awarded Beyoncé for outstanding costumes in a variety, music, or reality show, following her spectacular halftime show at the "Beyoncé Bowl" sports event.
