Jon Russell Joins Integrity Compliance 360 as Senior Adviser
In a significant move, Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360) has appointed Jon Russell as its newest senior adviser. Russell, with over 29 years of experience in the betting and gaming industry, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company.
Russell's career in the industry began in 1990, when he studied American Studies, Political Science, and Government at UC San Diego. He later graduated from the University of Sussex with a BA Hons in American Studies and Political Science (1988-1992), and from the University of Leicester with an MA in Sociology of Sport.
Russell's professional journey includes stints at several prominent companies such as Sporting Index, Sporting Odds, Sportingbet, William Hill, Spreadex, Victor Chandler, and Ladbrokes, where he spent nearly 13 years leading football trading operations. He also served as the global head of trading at Betway from 2013.
During his tenure at Betway, Russell also chaired the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) from 2019 to 2024. He was also a former director of Betway Group. In August 2023, he held the director position at Betway, focusing on enhancing performance, growth, and innovation across the business.
Scott Sadin, the chief operating officer of IC360, highlighted the significance of Russell's addition to the team. "Jon's extensive experience in the betting and gaming industry, coupled with his leadership roles at some of the biggest names in the business, will be invaluable to us as we continue to expand our services and safeguard the integrity of sports competitions at all levels," Sadin said.
Russell expressed his enthusiasm for joining IC360 and contributing to its continued international growth. "I'm looking forward to working with the team at IC360 and using my experience to help drive the company's mission of providing compliance, education, training, and integrity services to sportsbooks and sports organizations," Russell said.
This appointment follows the recent addition of Bill Pascrell III as a special adviser to IC360. Pascrell is described as one of the nation's top experts in sports betting and casino operations.
With the addition of Russell and Pascrell, IC360 is well-positioned to continue its mission of ensuring the integrity of sports competitions and providing essential services to the betting and gaming industry.
