"GNTM" Star Competes in "Let's Dance" - Betty Taube and stars step into Let’s Dance season 19 with no experience
The lineup for Let's Dance season 19 is taking shape, with several well-known faces set to compete. Among them is Betty Taube, a former contestant on Germany's Next Topmodel, who will join athletes, musicians, and influencers in the popular dance show. The new series promises a mix of familiar names and fresh talent.
Betty Taube has openly admitted her nerves ahead of the competition. With dance experience limited to village festivals, she faces a steep learning curve. Despite this, she remains determined to push herself and enjoy the experience.
She won’t be alone in stepping outside her comfort zone. Joel Mattli, known for his agility on Ninja Warrior, will also take to the dance floor. Gustav Schäfer, drummer of Tokio Hotel, adds a musical touch to the lineup. Meanwhile, influencer Willi Whey and content creator Vanessa Borck bring digital fame to the show.
The cast includes even more variety. Actress Esther Schweins, presenter Sonya Kraus, and Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten star Jan Kittmann will join singer Anna-Carina Woitschack and comedian Simon Gosejohann. Former No Angels member Nadja Benaissa rounds out the group, ensuring a diverse range of backgrounds.
Taube’s professional dance partner has yet to be announced. The show’s producers have not confirmed any pairings so far.
Season 19 of Let's Dance will feature a broad mix of contestants, from reality TV stars to musicians and athletes. The series kicks off with Betty Taube and others eager to prove themselves, even without prior dance training. The first performances will reveal how they adapt to the challenge.
