Hittin' the Xbox Games Showcase by storm, Gears of War Reloaded is all set to revive the original series' action-packed glory yet again!

Although initially remastered a decade ago with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, this latest remaster promises to raise the bar even higher with technical enhancements, making it more compatible with 2025 standards.

Mark your calendars - the much-anticipated release is scheduled for August 26th, and for the first time ever, PS5 users can join in on the fun! But before that, two beta weekends will be held to showcase the multiplayer mode.

Beta Weekends for Gears of War Reloaded

Exciting news for gaming enthusiasts across platforms! Here are the key dates:

• Weekend one: June 13th, 3 p.m. ET - June 15th, 3 p.m ET.
• Weekend two: June 20th, 3 p.m. ET - June 22nd, 3 p.m ET.

The beta weekends will be live on Xbox, PC, PS5, and even on Xbox Cloud Gaming and NVIDIA GeForce Now on supported devices.

Getting access to the Gears of War Reloaded beta

Wanna get in on the action? Here are three ways to do it:

1. Pre-order a copy of Gears of War Reloaded on any supported platform.
2. Active subscriber to either PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
3. Owners of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition can claim a free copy of Gears of War Reloaded, provided they purchased it before May 5, 2025[2].

Just remember, if you're claiming it via Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, the purchased copy must be before May 5th, 2025[2]. Additionally, it seems that digital pre-orders only are eligible for the multiplayer beta access[3].
