Capital City's Crushing Defeat: Berlin Thunder Falls to Nordic Storm in ELF

Berlin's Thunder suffers a hefty defeat in its third-season match - Berlin's Thunder suffers significant defeat in third game this season.

In the latest episode of the European League of Football (ELF), the Berlin Thunder, coached by Headcoach Jag Bal, experienced a hard-hitting 0:35 (0:22) defeat at the hands of Nordic Storm from Copenhagen. This loss marks the Thunder's second defeat in the 2022 ELF season.

Starting off on the wrong foot, the Berliners endured a botched field goal attempt by kicker Nils Schauerte in the initial quarter, which resulted in a swift counter-attack by Nordic Storm's Luke Glenna rushing into the Berlin end zone. The hosts took a quick 6:0 lead, leaving the Berlin Thunder's offense, led by quarterback Jakeb Sullivan, struggling to respond[3].

The newly-formed Nordic Storm team, representing the Scandinavian region in the ELF, managed to deliver the only points during the first half. The second half saw an even more dominant performance from the home team on both offense and defense.

With just a single victory thus far in the North Division, Berlin's record stands at 1-2. They will be squaring off in an upcoming battle against the Hamburg Sea Devils, another one of Germany's top teams[4].
