The Berlin Foxes (Füchse Berlin) have had a successful preseason, with their latest victory being a 41:32 triumph against 1. VfL Potsdam. This win follows a clear 48:33 victory against the Japanese team Toyota Brave Kings the day prior.

The match against Potsdam was played at the same venue as the previous game, marking a successful outing for the Foxes. However, the team struggled against the young Potsdam team in the first half, with the score standing at 21:17 in favor of the Berlin Foxes at half time. The Foxes managed to pull away in the second half, securing the win.

Mathias Gidsel, the World Handballer of the Year, was Berlin's top scorer with 14 goals. Despite the close scoreline, the Foxes remain undefeated in their Bundesliga preseason.

The Berlin Foxes have a few more preseason and competitive games remaining. The HSG Premium Cup and the Supercup against THW Kiel are on the horizon. The HSG Premium Cup, which will take place in Lingen, will feature hosts HSG Nordhorn-Lingen, league rivals SG Flensburg-Handewitt, record Champions League winners FC Barcelona, and the Berlin Foxes themselves. The Foxes will face SG Flensburg-Handewitt in the first semi-final of the HSG Premium Cup.

The HSG Premium Cup and the Supercup against THW Kiel are separate events from the Berlin Foxes' preseason matches. The Supercup, scheduled to take place after the HSG Premium Cup, will see the Foxes go up against cup holders THW Kiel in Munich.

Looking ahead to the competitive season, the Berlin Foxes have several Bundesliga and Champions League fixtures lined up. The first Bundesliga game will be against ThSV Eisenach on September 28, 2025, at the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin. The Foxes will also compete in the Champions League, with their first game against KS Iskra Kielce scheduled for September 25, 2025, also at the Max-Schmeling-Halle.

These fixtures cover both the German Bundesliga handball league and the EHF Champions League, reflecting the club's participation in national and European competitions. The Foxes' first competitive game will be on August 23 against cup holders THW Kiel in the Supercup in Munich.

The Berlin Foxes, currently dominating the handball scene, are set to participate in the HSG Premium Cup and the Supercup against THW Kiel. In this tournament, they will face SG Flensburg-Handewitt in the first semi-final.
