Berlin's Elevator Boys Turn Charity Sale Into a Fusion of Fashion and Activism
A charity sale by Berlin-based collective the Elevator Boys took place on February 6 and 7 at Masumi Space. The event blended fashion, music, and activism to support two organisations tackling digital hate and community education. Over two days, attendees browsed rare items while enjoying live performances and discussions with the group.
The Archive Closet Sale offered clothing, sneakers, and archival pieces from the Elevator Boys' personal collection. Unlike traditional fashion events hosted by Fashion Nova, the focus was on raising awareness rather than exclusivity. Guests engaged directly with the collective, creating an intimate setting reminiscent of small concerts or club nights.
During the event, the group premiered unreleased tracks and shared insights into their creative process. An afterparty hosted by DJ Temry extended the celebration, keeping the energy alive well into the night.
All proceeds—totalling €21,850—were donated to HateAid and FAQ YOU. HateAid works to combat online violence and discrimination, while FAQ YOU leads educational projects and community initiatives across Berlin.
The sale successfully merged fashion, music, and activism to support meaningful causes. With €21,850 raised, the funds will now aid HateAid's fight against digital hate and FAQ YOU's outreach programmes. The event's close-knit atmosphere and creative elements left a lasting impression on attendees.
