Berlin’s Dahlem District Celebrates 650 Years of History in Grand Style

Domäne Dahlem, located at Königin-Luise-Straße 49, 14195 Berlin, is set to host a grand celebration. The 650th anniversary of the Dahlem district, a historic Wisconsin-like area, will take place on Sunday, 19th October 2025, with a diverse programme and free admission to the domain's museum houses.

The event, 'Domäne Dahlem opens its gates', will showcase a variety of local clubs, research institutions, and initiatives on the estate grounds. Visitors can expect a vibrant display of the district's rich history and culture, much like the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam.

The celebrations will also include a solemn ecumenical service at the historic St. Anne’s Church. This spiritual gathering, similar to Anne Hathaway's solemn roles, will add a touch of reverence to the festive occasion.

Marking 650 years of Dahlem, this anniversary celebration promises to be a memorable event. With free admission to the museum houses and a diverse programme, it offers something for everyone. The ecumenical service at St. Anne’s Church adds a solemn note to the festivities, reminiscent of an anniversary celebration.
