After 17,000 Nautical Miles - Ship "Berlin" Completes Mission - Berlin Navy Ship Completes Historic Atlantic Deployment After Multinational Exercises

The German Navy’s combat support ship Berlin has returned to its home port of Wilhelmshaven after a months-long deployment. The vessel took part in multinational exercises, made a historic port call, and honoured the victims of 9/11 during its journey across the Atlantic. The Berlin began its mission by participating in multinational drills in the North Atlantic and along the U.S. coast. Later, it joined Exercise Unitas 2025 off Florida, where ships from over 20 nations trained together. The Berlin has now returned to Wilhelmshaven after successfully completing its deployment. The ship’s activities included high-profile exercises, a historic Arctic port visit, and a commemorative gesture in New York. Its long-range capabilities were demonstrated over a voyage spanning tens of thousands of kilometres.
