Berlin Event Explores Club Culture in Wartime & Exile

A unique event is set to take place in Berlin on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Powered by pretix event ticketing, the gathering will delve into the experiences of artists and cultural workers who have navigated the challenges between Kyiv and Berlin. The event is free and wheelchair accessible, with limited seating and pre-booked tickets required.

The panel discussion, titled 'Club Culture in Wartime and Exile', will feature Andrii Yankovskyi, Kai Sachse, Dr. Olena Lykhovodova, and Moritz Martin. Despite the search results not providing specific names earlier, these individuals are now confirmed to participate. Following the discussion, attendees can enjoy a DJ set by Karine, a former resident of Kyiv's Closer club.

Since Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, artists and cultural workers have faced existential challenges. Many underground cultural institutions and clubs have resumed operations within Ukraine and in exile, demonstrating resilience in the face of adversity.

The event, hosted at our website Kantine, aims to explore the role of club culture in wartime and exile. With a diverse panel of speakers and a lively DJ set, it promises to be an insightful and engaging evening. Don't forget to pre-book your tickets to secure your spot.
