In a candid conversation with the German Press Agency, Felix revealed his frustration with the dating scene in Germany's capital. "Berlin isn't the best city to find love. Dating here is a roller coaster ride, to say the least," he shared.
The culprit? Escalating independence and a lack of commitment. According to Felix, the vastness of the city, combined with its ever-changing population and the endless parade of tourists, fuels a culture of short-term affairs. The city is also the birthplace of dating apps, resulting in an overwhelming abundance of choices.
The Father of One's Stern Search for Love
Felix, a seasoned player, has felt the sting of commitment-phobia himself. He admitted, "There was a time I couldn't fully commit, but that phase has passed for me in the last few years." Determined to not miss out on a potential love story, Felix decided to give RTL's dating show "The Bachelors" a try.
Felix is a father to a son, born in 2019, and former flames include Avelina Boateng, the sister of footballer Jérôme Boateng.

Joining Felix on this love hunt is Martin Braun, a Cologne insurance specialist. Starting June 18 at 8:15 PM on TV, or already streaming on RTL+, the pair will embark on a fiery quest for love in the hot South African sun. The series, now named "The Bachelors" instead of the previous "The Bachelor," aims to change the dating game with its plural title.
