Bengal Warriorz engineered a thrilling comeback in PKL, thanks to Devank and Ashish, as they edge past UP Yoddhas 41-37.

In a nail-biting encounter in the Pro Kabaddi League, the Bengal Warriorz managed to turn the tables on UP Yoddhas, securing a crucial 41-37 win after a series of four straight losses.

The match began with a successful raid from Guman Singh for UP Yoddhas, setting the tone for an intense battle. The Yoddhas started strongly, with their defence showing solid coordination, and they inflicted an ALL OUT on the Warriorz, extending their lead to 10-4.

However, the Warriorz refused to be overwhelmed. Devank Dalal, the skipper, levelled the score with a raid early in the game. The Warriorz narrowed the gap to 12-16 with a successful raid by Devank and a bonus point.

UP Yoddhas responded with composed raids and a strong defence, stretching their lead to 15-9 in the second quarter. Guman executed successful raids for the Yoddhas during this period. Despite the Warriorz's push, the Yoddhas maintained their advantage, leading 18-13 at halftime.

The second half saw a dramatic turnaround. The Warriorz opened the half by picking up quick points, reducing the deficit to five. Ashish of Bengal Warriorz achieved a High Five (5 tackle points in a single match), providing a much-needed boost for the Warriorz.

The Yoddhas' defence stepped up once again, earning a point and regaining the momentum. However, the Warriorz continued to fight back, scoring a couple of quick points at the start of the second quarter, reducing the deficit to just five.

The score was 18-13 in favour of UP Yoddhas at halftime, but the Warriorz's determination paid off. They cut the deficit to 15-18 at the start of the second half and gradually chipped away at the Yoddhas' lead.

The match reached a climax in the final moments, with both teams fighting tooth and nail. Devank Dalal scored a Super 10 (10 points or more in a single match) for the sixth consecutive game, helping the Warriorz secure the victory.

This win was an important one for the Bengal Warriorz, marking their first victory of the season and providing a much-needed morale boost for the team. The Pro Kabaddi League continues to deliver exciting matches, and fans can look forward to more thrilling encounters in the coming weeks.
