FC Porto Dominates in I League's Sixth Round

The sixth round of the I League saw a thrilling encounter between Nacional and Arouca, but the spotlight was stolen by FC Porto's dominant performance against Rio Ave. The match, played at Rio Ave's field, marked the return of a familiar face to national football - José Mourinho, who is now the head coach of Benfica, not FC Porto.

In the opening match of the sixth round, FC Porto showed their prowess, defeating Rio Ave 3-0. Pablo Rosario, Samu, and Gabri Veiga scored the goals for the current first-placed team in the I League. Rosario's goal was his debut goal for FC Porto, while both of Veiga's goals were assisted by the midfielder.

Veiga's first goal was a header and marked his debut goal for FC Porto in the current season. His second assist led to Rosario's first goal for the club, further solidifying his impact on the team. The third goal, scored by Samu, was also initiated by Veiga, who took a corner kick that set up the sequence.

The game was a steamroller for FC Porto in this season's start, with Veiga providing two assists and scoring a goal himself. Rodrigo Mora was replaced by Veiga in the FC Porto lineup for the match, a move that seemed to invigorate the team.

Meanwhile, Benfica, now under Mourinho's leadership, will visit the AVS's field in the sixth round of the I League. The sixth round will be completed on Monday with Sporting hosting Moreirense. As the season progresses, the I League promises to deliver more exciting matches and competitive play.
