Riding the Golf Wave: Ben Griffin's Soaring Career and his ride-or-die Dana
Ben Griffin's career has been a thrilling rollercoaster ride, no doubts about that. After battling financial struggles at the start of his journey, he left golf behind in 2021, diving into the world of mortgage loan officer-ing. Fast forward to 2022, he's back swinging with a vengeance, barely looking back.
Now established as a PGA Tour star, Griffin bagged his initial victories on the circuit in 2025, triumphing at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans alongside Andrew Novak, and the Charles Schwab Challenge. He didn't stop there, either, vying for his first Major title at the US Open at Oakmont, his rapid ascent continuing.
For the most part of the revamped phase of his professional career, Griffin has enjoyed the support of partner Dana Myeroff. Here's a lowdown on the woman who's been there for him through the highs and the lows.
Hailing from Ohio, Dana studied at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, majoring in business information systems and accounting. These days, she's a senior customer service manager at Workday.
The duo started dating in April 2022 and Dana's been sharing their shared adventures on Instagram since - from England trips to Wimbledon tennis championships. Fast forward to July 2024, and the pair got engaged, with Griffin popping the question at Sea Island.
Dana's been a rock for Ben, regularly attending events and cheering him on. After his win at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, she penned a heartfelt message, "Your passion, perseverance, and heart inspire me every single day. It's so special to watch your childhood dream come true. I will forever be your #1 fan."
At the Charles Schwab Challenge, she wrote again, "It's hard to put into words what it's like to watch the person you love most achieve their childhood dreams... especially when that dream includes a custom 1992 Defender." Dana was also by his side at Oakmont, when he put himself in contention for the US Open's biggest moment. Proving yet again that while he's gaining fans galore as his career skyrockets, Dana remains his number one supporter.
