Bella Ramsey Expresses Interest in Joining Marvel's Spider-Man and a Hypothetical Heist Movie
Bella Ramsey discusses her planned ventures in heist movies and the Spider-Man franchise
Bella Ramsey, the British actress known for her roles in the hit series Game of Thrones and The Last of Us, has shown a keen interest in expanding her superhero repertoire.
Star Wars Role in the Works?
Rumours from August 2025 suggest that Lucasfilm is considering Ramsey for an unspecified role in one of their upcoming Star Wars films or series. However, no official confirmation or details about the project or character are available yet. With Lucasfilm working on several projects, including movies like Star Wars: Starfighter and shows such as Ahsoka Season 2, fans are eagerly waiting for any updates.
Spider-Man and the Marvel Cinematic Universe
During an interview, Ramsey expressed her desire to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), specifically expressing interest in playing Spider-Man or a new superhero created for the role. This interest was sparked by her relationship with Pedro Pascal, who recently debuted in the MCU. Ramsey praised Tom Holland's portrayal of Spider-Man and indicated that she might be a fresh face for a new superhero role.
A Hypothetical Heist Movie with Pedro Pascal
In the same interview, Ramsey mentioned her wish to collaborate with Pascal on a heist film, a project that would involve the pair robbing a bank together. This idea was described more as a hopeful dream rather than a confirmed production.
Ramsey has previously worked with Pascal on The Last of Us, where he played the character Joel. Reflecting on their working relationship, Ramsey described Pascal as "as nice as he seems."
Pedro Pascal has recently been seen in Materialists and Fantastic Four: First Steps.
Bella Ramsey, who played Ellie in the HBO series The Last of Us, acknowledged Tom Holland's performance as Spider-Man and stated that her preferred Spider-Man is the one played by Andrew Garfield.
As of now, the Star Wars casting is a current industry rumour without official confirmation, the Spider-Man link is based on Ramsey’s expressed desire rather than casting news, and the heist movie is a personal project idea shared by Ramsey, not a confirmed production.
