Bella Astillah and Syed Saddiq announce engagement after Kinabalu proposal

Actress Bella Astillah and Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman have officially announced their engagement. The couple celebrated with a private ceremony in Kuala Lumpur on March 28, following a romantic proposal on Mount Kinabalu earlier this year. Syed Saddiq proposed to Bella Astillah during a trip to Mount Kinabalu in January. After a brief pause, she accepted his offer. Their recent engagement ceremony carried the same mountain theme, reflecting the significance of the location.

The event included a traditional exchange of gifts. Syed Saddiq's family presented five trays, while Bella's family offered seven. The couple also took care to involve Bella's children, Ayden Adrean and Ara Adreanna, in the celebration. Syed Saddiq personally shared the news with them, and both children responded warmly.

Bella was previously married to Singaporean singer-actor Aliff Aziz from 2016 until their divorce in 2024. She and Aliff share two children, who now appear supportive of her new relationship. The engagement marks a new chapter for Bella Astillah and Syed Saddiq. Their private ceremony in Kuala Lumpur followed a carefully planned proposal and included family traditions. The couple's next steps will likely be closely watched by supporters and the public.
