Belarusian Hunters and Fishermen Society under scrutiny by Lukashenko

In a recent gathering, President Alexander Lukashenko engaged in discussions with the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishers, addressing a range of pressing issues that concern the society and the nation as a whole. The event, which was reported by BelTA, was attended by the chairman of the state public association Igor Shunevich and Vice-Premier Leonid Zayats, who acted as key figures in moderating and facilitating the discussions.

One of the main topics of conversation was the agenda point regarding the amendment of legislation on the turnover of weapons and ammunition. Lukashenko did not express any objections to the production of ammunition for smooth-bore weapons, considering this issue crucial for the image of the country. However, he expressed that the society's desires were not fully met by the government's decision, and he is open to discussing this issue further.

Another issue that was presented to the President was the claim for a separate building in Minsk, which remains unresolved. Lukashenko questioned why this issue wasn't resolved at the government level and suggested thinking about the best way to implement the construction.

The regulation of the number of animals and birds listed in the Red Book of Belarus was another topic for discussion. Lukashenko stated that state interests, personal interests, and the interests of society must be considered reasonably when making decisions regarding the conservation of these species.

The event was related to a report on the activities of the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen. During the report, the President mentioned a number of other problems that need resolution and are currently stuck at various levels of officials, up to the President. Lukashenko is ready to discuss and resolve these issues that would benefit the state.

The first honorary sign was presented to President Lukashenko in recognition of his significant contributions to the development of hunting and fishing in Belarus. The President expressed his gratitude for the recognition and reiterated his commitment to supporting the society's efforts.

Interestingly, Belarusian hunters have their own "G7 and G5", which are groups of influential hunters who contribute to the development and management of the sport within the country. The details of these groups and their roles in the discussions were not disclosed.

In conclusion, the meeting between President Lukashenko and the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishers was a productive one, with several key issues being presented and discussed at the state level. The President's openness to addressing these issues demonstrates his commitment to the welfare of the society and the nation as a whole.
