Belarusian Generals Undergo Assessment - Exam Results Revealed
In a bid to assess the physical preparedness of senior officers in Belarus' law enforcement agencies, President Aleksandr Lukashenko initiated a series of physical fitness tests for generals and colonels holding top military positions. The tests, which focused on both endurance and strength, were designed to emphasize the importance of physical fitness for operational and combat readiness.
### The Tests in Detail
The physical fitness tests were organized by the State Secretariat of the Security Council, with assistance from specialists of the Sports Committee of the Armed Forces, the Suvorov Minsk Military School, and the Central House of Officers. The participants, all generals and colonels from 11 law enforcement agencies, including the highest officers of the Security Council itself, were put through their paces.
The tests included endurance exercises such as running 500 meters or swimming 100 meters, as well as strength evaluations like pull-ups or more complex strength tasks. Officers had the choice between classic pull-ups or a complex strength exercise during the strength portion of the tests.
### The Outcomes
The results of the physical fitness tests were announced by Alexander Volfovich, State Secretary of the Security Council.
