Belarus U-19 Kicks Off Euro 2024 Journey with Greece Clash

The junior national football team of Belarus (U-19) has kicked off its journey towards the 2024 European Championship. The team's first qualifying match took place on November 15th, with the final stage set for spring 2024 in Northern Ireland.

Belarus began their campaign against Greece in Manavgat, Turkey. They will also face Lithuania and Turkey in the group stage. Two top teams from each group, along with the best third-placed team, will progress to the elite round.

Nine teams have already secured their spots in the elite round: Austria, Latvia, Czech Republic, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Romania. The opponents for Belarus' remaining matches in the Euro 2024 pre-qualification have yet to be confirmed.

The Belarus U-19 team aims to join the elite round and eventually compete in the final stage in Northern Ireland. Their performance in the upcoming matches will determine their fate in the qualification process.
