Belarus sets March 31 deadline for 2025 tax filings and payments

Belarus has set key deadlines for the 2025 tax season, with filings due by March 31, 2026. Officials expect between 45,000 and 50,000 declarations this year. Early figures show nearly 20,000 submissions were made by March 9, 2026.

The highest declared income for 2025 exceeded 10 million rubles, mostly from dividends paid by a Belarusian firm. A 25% tax rate applies to earnings from employment, dividends, and civil-law contracts.

Over 60% of declarations included foreign income, largely from other CIS nations. Data from 2024 also revealed that around 75% of individuals earning more than 200,000 rubles lived in Minsk or the surrounding region. Taxpayers must settle their bills by June 1, 2026. No official records exist for 2023 filings, as searches returned unrelated results on Austrian budgets and aviation safety.

The 2025 tax season runs until March 31, 2026, with payments due two months later. Foreign earnings and high-value dividends feature prominently in this year's filings. Officials anticipate a steady flow of submissions before the deadline.
