Beckeln Wins Youth Fire Departments' Hütchenball Tournament

Last Sunday, the youth fire departments of Oldenburg County gathered in Brettorf for their final competition of the year, a sports tournament in Hütchenball. Nineteen teams in the A age group (10-14 years) and fourteen in the B age group (up to 18 years) participated, with the event culminating in the determination of the mini-Olympiade's results.

The competition began with preliminary rounds, with the best teams advancing to the final games. In the A age group, Beckeln emerged victorious, followed by Ganderkesee and Sandkrug. Meanwhile, in the B age group, Hude secured first place, with Neerstedt and Beckeln taking second and third respectively. The conclusion of the sports competition also decided the mini-Olympiade's results, with Beckeln securing the title, followed by Hude and Ganderkesee. The Oldenburg County Fire Department, specifically the Feuerwehr Brettorf, organized and hosted the vintage sports tournament. The county youth fire department expressed gratitude to the youth fire department of Neerstedt for their role in hosting and organizing the competition.

The youth fire departments of Oldenburg County concluded their year with a thrilling sports competition in Hütchenball in Brettorf. The event saw exciting matches and determined the mini-Olympiade's results, with Beckeln taking the top spot in both the A age group final and the overall mini-Olympiade. The county youth fire department thanked the Neerstedt team for their support in hosting and organizing the competition.
