22-year-old Beau Greaves Makes Darts History - Beau Greaves stuns darts world with historic nine-dart finish
Beau Greaves has made history as the first woman to hit a perfect nine-dart finish in a PDC ProTour event. The 22-year-old English player achieved the rare feat during her second-round match against Mensur Suljovic in Leicester. No woman had ever accomplished this in a professional PDC tournament before.
Greaves entered the Players Championship 6 with strong form, narrowly beating Chris Landman 6–5 in the opening round. Her next match against Austria's Suljovic saw her land the flawless leg, checking out from 501 in just nine darts. Though she had come close before, this marked her first official nine-darter on the ProTour.
Despite the milestone, her performance dipped afterwards. Greaves struggled to recover her rhythm and later fell 3–6 to David Sharp in the following round.
The nine-dart finish remains one of darts' most prestigious achievements. It requires three consecutive treble 20s, followed by two more trebles and a check-out of 141—all in the fewest possible throws.
Greaves' record-breaking leg sets a new benchmark for women in professional darts. Her victory over Suljovic confirmed her place in the tournament's next stage, even as her run ended shortly after. The achievement cements her status as one of the sport's rising talents.
