NBA Announces Expanded European Schedule for 2025-2028

The NBA has unveiled plans for an expanded European schedule, marking a significant step in the league's ongoing commitment to growing its presence in Europe. The schedule, which spans from the 2025-26 season to the 2027-28 season, includes six regular-season games across four European cities: Berlin, London, Manchester, and Paris.

In the upcoming 2025-26 season, the Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic will square off at Uber Arena, Berlin on January 15, 2026. The return game will take place at The O2 Arena, London on January 18, 2026.

The 2026-27 season will see games in Manchester (Co-op Live) and Paris (Accor Arena), with dates yet to be confirmed. The participating teams for these games have not been announced yet.

The 2027-28 season will also feature games in Berlin (Uber Arena) and Paris (Accor Arena), with both dates and teams to be announced at a later date.

The UK is set to become a significant market with Manchester hosting its first-ever regular-season game in 2027, while London continues to be a key hub for NBA games. The French cities of Paris and Berlin are also part of this expansion, reflecting the league's commitment to growing basketball across multiple European capitals.

Key venues for these games include Uber Arena, Berlin, The O2 Arena, London, Co-op Live Arena, Manchester, and Accor Arena, Paris. So far, the Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic have been confirmed as participating teams. Teams for the later games (2027-28) will be announced closer to the seasons.

In addition to these regular-season games, preseason games will be held in Abu Dhabi (New York-Philadelphia) and Macau (Brooklyn-Phoenix). The NBA is also exploring broader strategies in Europe, including potentially establishing permanent professional teams in cities like London and Manchester, indicating a long-term commitment beyond these European games.

The Orlando Magic, led by the Wagner brothers and Paolo Banchero, and the Memphis Grizzlies, featuring All-Stars Jaren Jackson Jr. and Ja Morant, are among the teams set to participate in this exciting European slate. Chris Paul is also expected to return to the Los Angeles Clippers for a potential final season, adding another layer of intrigue to the upcoming NBA season.
