Kretzschmar's journey to the top began in 2022 when she led Germany to a 2:0 victory over European champion Spain at the World Games in Chengdu, China, marking the start of the tournament for Germany's beach handball team. Aside from her athletic prowess, Kretzschmar is also active on social media platforms like TikTok, where she shares insights into her sports lifestyle and engages with fans. This helps to promote handball and keep the sport in the spotlight.

Beach handball was officially presented in the framework program at the Olympics in Paris, and there is a growing possibility that it could be included in the Olympic program for Brisbane 2032. If this happens, Kretzschmar will have a chance to celebrate her 32nd birthday at the Olympics, a dream she has been working towards.

Kretzschmar's next goal is to secure a spot in the Olympics. She hopes to put beach handball in the spotlight and drum up support for an Olympic future. With her leadership, skill, and determination, there is no doubt that Kretzschmar will continue to be a force to be reckoned with in the world of beach handball.

In her quest to make beach handball more popular and increase its chances of being included in the Olympic program for Brisbane 2032, Kretzschmar continues to excel in the sport, regularly sharing insights into her athletic lifestyle on social media platforms like TikTok.
