BBC to Broadcast World Indoor Athletics Competition
The city of Glasgow is set to host the World Indoor Athletics Championships from the 1st to the 3rd of March, 2024. This exciting event will bring together some of the world's best athletes, including the likes of Noah Lyles, Femke Bol, and Armand Duplantis.
BBC Sport will be providing live coverage of the championships, which can be viewed on BBC Two and iPlayer. The event will be led by Gabby Logan, with Steve Cram moderating the coverage. The BBC team includes Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, Dame Denise Lewis, Colin Jackson, Paula Radcliffe, Steve Cram, Steve Backley, Andrew Cotter, and Jeanette Kwakye, all of whom will provide expert commentary and analysis.
Josh Kerr, a 1500m world champion, and Laura Muir, a fellow Scot, will represent Britain in the event. Jemma Reekie is hoping to end the weekend on a high in the Women's 800m, while Molly Caudrey has a great medal chance in the Women's Pole Vault due to jumping higher than anyone this year.
The schedule consists of 26 titles to be won over the three days. Coverage on BBC Two will continue on March 2nd from 9.30am to 1.15pm and 6.40pm to 10.15pm. There will also be additional coverage on the Red Button from 9.55pm to 10.30pm on March 2nd, as well as from 10.10pm to 10.30pm and 12.10pm to 1.45pm on March 3rd.
