These are the two new cast members - 'Baywatch' reboot confirmed with Stephen Amell and a returning original star
A Baywatch reboot is on the way, with both new faces and a familiar one returning. Stephen Amell will take the lead role as Hobie Buchannon, while original cast member David Chokachi has been confirmed to reprise his part as Cody Madison. The series will also introduce rising stars Brooks Nader and Noah Beck in key roles.
Deadline first reported that David Chokachi, known for playing Cody Madison in seasons 6–9 (1995–1999), will return for the reboot. The actor later shared the news on his Instagram, marking the only confirmed original cast member so far. No other legacy stars have been announced or rumoured for guest appearances.
Stephen Amell, best known for Arrow, has been cast as Hobie Buchannon, a central figure in the new series. Meanwhile, social media personality Noah Beck will take on the role of a classic California beach boy and surfer. Brooks Nader, a model and former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition star, will portray Selene, the sharp-tongued chief lifeguard at Zuma Beach.
The reboot brings together a mix of established and fresh talent. Amell leads as Hobie Buchannon, while Chokachi's return ties the new series to its original run. Nader and Beck will add youthful energy as lifeguards on the iconic beaches of Los Angeles.
