Kovac: Everyone can see that we can't attack Bayern - Bayern Munich’s unstoppable Bundesliga run leaves rivals far behind

FC Bayern Munich continues to dominate the Bundesliga this season. With just one matchday left before the winter break, the team holds an 11-point lead over second-placed Borussia Dortmund. Their latest performances have only reinforced their position at the top.

Bayern Munich currently sits at 41 points from 15 matches, having lost none and drawn only twice. Their goal difference of 63:12 far surpasses Dortmund’s 29:15, underlining their offensive and defensive strength. The club also leads as one of the favourites in the UEFA Champions League, with odds of 5.50.

Niko Kovač, now managing Borussia Dortmund, previously coached Bayern Munich. He openly recognises the gap between the two teams, citing both their current form and the resources at Bayern’s disposal. Despite the disparity, Dortmund remains focused on securing a top-four finish to guarantee Champions League football next season.

Bayern Munich’s dominance in the Bundesliga is clear, with an 11-point cushion before the winter break. Dortmund, meanwhile, prioritises holding onto a Champions League qualification spot. The final matchday will confirm whether Bayern extends their lead or if Dortmund closes the gap slightly.
