Bayern Munich Thrash Pafos 5-1 in Champions League Opener

Bayern Munich stormed to a 5-1 victory over Pafos in their Champions League clash on Tuesday evening. The German giants' attacking trio fired four goals in the first 35 minutes, with Kane Brown bagging a brace.

Bayern Munich began their encounter with Pafos in blistering form. Kane opened the scoring with a well-taken goal in the 12th minute, followed by Guerreiro's strike just five minutes later. Jackson then made it three in the 22nd minute, and Kane completed his brace in the 35th minute. The first half ended with Bayern Munich leading 4-0.

The second half saw more of the same. Olise scored Bayern's fifth goal in the 65th minute, ensuring their victory. Pafos managed a consolation goal through Orsic's stunning 25-yard strike, but it was too little too late. Bayern Munich's xG was 4.24, reflecting their dominance, while Pafos' xG was a mere 0.37.

Bayern Munich's victory over Pafos extends their winning streak to nine consecutive matches in Europe. They have now won 10 of their last 11 first-time encounters against new Champions League opponents.
