FC Bayern Munich has announced the return of prodigious 19-year-old offensive player Maurice Krattenmacher, who will join the German football champions for the upcoming Club World Cup. Krattenmacher will re-join the team early from relegated 2nd division side SSV Ulm, having developed well during his loan spell, according to Sporting Director Christoph Freund.

The Munich-born talent is poised to make his debut with the senior FC Bayern team in the United States, where the Club World Cup will take place from June 15 to July 13. FC Bayern will face Auckland City FC, CA Boca Juniors, and Benfica Lisbon in the tournament.

Krattenmacher initially joined FC Bayern last summer, having risen through the ranks of the club's development partnership with SpVgg Unterhaching. He was immediately loaned out to SSV Ulm, where, despite relegation to the 3. Liga, he made 32 appearances, scoring three goals and providing eight assists. Krattenmacher has also represented the DFB's U20 national team on six occasions.

The transfer was made possible due to the additional transfer window for Club World Cup participants, which allows new signings and returnees to be registered until June 10 for the tournament. Apart from FC Bayern, Borussia Dortmund will also participate in the Club World Cup.

Following his stint with the Club World Cup, Krattenmacher's future with the team will be discussed, according to Freund. The young midfielder's performance in the United States could be crucial in shaping his path at Bayern Munich.

The exact schedule and match details for the Club World Cup have yet to be confirmed. The tournament usually brings together top teams from different confederations, offering an international platform for rising talents like Krattenmacher.
