Update on Transfer Sagas: Woltemade Remains at Stuttgart, Coman's Move Uncertain

The transfer saga surrounding Nick Woltemade between VfB Stuttgart and FC Bayern Munich has come to a close, with Stuttgart firmly ruling out any departure for the promising midfielder this summer.

Stuttgart CEO Alexander Wehrle has confirmed that Woltemade will remain a Stuttgart player for the 2025/26 season, after Bayern Munich failed to meet Stuttgart's valuation of around €75 million. Initially, Stuttgart had been willing to consider an offer in excess of €60 million plus bonuses and a resale clause, but Bayern did not increase their bid beyond the €60m+ offer. Consequently, Stuttgart declared the matter closed.

Despite Bayern Munich's ongoing interest and some statements from their side that they would not completely rule out a future move, VfB Stuttgart’s position remains clear: Woltemade will stay for this season, and talks between Stuttgart and the player’s agent continue with a focus on his contract and satisfaction of all parties, not on a transfer.

Meanwhile, the potential transfer of Kingsley Coman from FC Bayern Munich to Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr is not yet final. Christoph Freund, the sporting director of FC Bayern Munich, has commented on the possible transfer, stating there is no room to maneuver as Coman is still a player of Bayern Munich. However, Stuttgart is open to a higher transfer fee from Bayern than the previously reported up to 55 million euros.

The sickness of Kingsley Coman could potentially impact the timing of the transfer, and the transfer could at least be delayed due to his illness. It remains to be seen how this situation will unfold, and whether there will be any further developments in the transfer saga surrounding Coman.

In other news, FC Bayern Munich won their final test match against Grasshopper Club Zurich with a score of 2:1, but Kingsley Coman was not part of the squad due to being sick. The Supercup clash between FC Bayern Munich and Stuttgart is scheduled for this Saturday at 20:30 CET in Stuttgart.
